Q + A

Can I bring my kids?

No, sorry! We love your littles, but this evening won't be any fun for them. Think cocktails, charcuterie, and real candles with actual open flames. We hope you'll use this evening as a date night. Please reach out if you are having trouble securing child care, as we are happy to make recommendations!

Can I bring a +1?

We're working with a very limited guest count, and working to carefully curate the *~*~vibe~*~* of our special day. With this in mind we will not be offering plus ones. Everyone invited will be named on your invite!

Will there be food? What about drinks?

Yes! We'll be serving a selection of appetizers, charcuterie, and we're delighted to be able to offer you an open bar.

Do we have to dance?

Nope! We are firmly sticks in the mud and we like it here, thank you very much! There won't be a dance party, but there WILL be good food, cocktails, and all the best and coolest people in the world.

Ugh, friends, a downtown venue? Really? What about parking?

Look. We're not gonna lie to you. Parking in this neighborhood is rough. We LOVE our venue, and we're excited to share the absolutely gorgeous Oliver Exchange Building with you. It's worth it, we promise! There are two nearby paid parking lots, which you are welcome to take advantage of. Our best recommendation would be to take an uber/lyft/taxi, especially if you're planning to enjoy a few drinks!

Des what the HECK are your pronouns?

Wouldn't you like to know? 😎 Just kidding! I use he/they pronouns. I just felt some of the older folks on the guest list cringe, so let me explain what that means. A correct way to refer to me would be: "That's Destin, HE'S so lucky to be marrying Amy." Another correct way to refer to me would be: "That's Destin, THEY'RE so lucky to be marrying Amy!"
